How we source 我们怎么找货
Where the stones actually come from
Our supply list sits in two districts we can name:
- Donghai County, Jiangsu(江苏东海) — the district the trade calls the crystal capital. Rough, clusters, geodes, bracelets and carved pieces all come from here.
- Pujiang and Yiwu, Zhejiang(浙江浦江 / 义乌) — glass, prisms, suncatchers, packaging and the small metal fittings.
We buy mostly direct from factories — Alibaba-verified 超级工厂 and 源头旗舰 suppliers with their own production lines and plant addresses, not trading companies. Where we do buy from a trader, it is because that trader is the only route to the material, and we say so.
What we record
- District and date for every piece we can trace it for
- Weight and dimensions as packed
- Photographs and, where the supplier allows it, video of the exact piece
- Treatments — dyed, heated, stabilised or lab-grown — stated on the card, always
What we cannot do
We cannot trace an individual stone back to a named mine. Almost nobody in this trade can, and anyone who claims otherwise for a $30 bracelet is selling you a story. What we can do is tell you the district, show you the piece, and state the treatments. That is the honest limit, and we would rather name it than dress it up.
